Electronic Information
Library Materials Online - Articles
- You search for magazine, journal and newspaper articles by using databases. Many articles are available in full-text when you find them in our databases.
- If the article is not in full-text then go to our eJournals and search for the journal in another database.
- If the journal is not available in another database then go to the CCSNH Union Catalog of Periodicals to see if it is available at Puksta Library or any other CCSNH Library. We will photocopy or scan the article and mail it to you.
- If all else fails then try copying and pasting the article title and author into Google and see if it is available through the free internet.
- The final option would be to locate the article from another library and get it for you through the ILL process.
Library Materials Online - Books
- When you find something you need please contact the library and we will get the material(s) to you.
- If you do not find what you are looking for then please contact the library and we will inter-library loan the material(s) from another library.
- If you need Reference materials then please give Credo Reference a try.
- We have a collection of eBooks from Ebrary which allows you to access to thousands of full text books online
- For Nursing and Allied Health students we have three other collections of eBooks from StatRef:
STAT!Ref database, RN database and Anatomy.tv
- Older works that are no longer protected by copyright are available on the internet. Project Gutenberg is a good try for literature as is the Online Books page.
